The friends of Mrs A. Sherwood will he pleased to learn that she has returned to her home in Cook Street, after her recent illness. Messrs Madge Bros. (Palmerston Noi’th) and P. Easton (Foxton) returned home yesterday from an extensive tour of England and America.

Mrs Nicolson, of “Melverton,” Clareville, mother of Mr H. Nicolsou, of Otaki, is in a serious state of health. Mrs Nioolson, who is over ninety years of age, recently fell and fractured her thigh. Father Me Sherry, of Otaki Mission Station, is at present paying a few days’ visit to Foxton, making arrangements for the appearance of the famous Pukekaraka Maori Party at the Town Hall on Thursday of next week.
