POSSESSION OF FARM SOUGHT.
An originating summons for possession of a farm was heard by Mr Justice MacGregor in the Palmerston N. Supreme Court on Thursday. The plaintiff avus Harry Stratford, retired farmer, of Palmerston N and the defendants Averc Oscar William Berg and Harold Berg, farmers, both of Oroua Dorvns.
Mr F. J. Oakley.' avlio represented plaintiff, asked for immediate possession of the farm. It had gone back and there had been three fires on it.
His Honour: Three (ires! In succession? ’ Mr Oakley said a six-roomed house had been destroyed in June, 1030; in May, 1931, the homestead had been partially damaged; and in January, 1932 the homestead and other buildings had been destroyed.

Counsel: There arc other buildings but the insurance companies have refused to insure them because of the three fires.
Afv Justice AfacGregor made an .order that defendant should give up the farm in 14 days, with costs and disbursements to plaintiff.
