GIFT AFTERNOON
BRIDE-TO-BE HONOURED,
A very enjoyble afternoon was given at the residence of Mrs L. €. Bryant yesterday by Mrs i L. 0. Bryant and the Misses E.\ and I. Patterson to honour Miss-' Mary Delaney on the eve of hep approaching marriage. Competitions and games were indulged in by the many friends present and a)n enjoyable recitation was given by Miss Jean Stevenson. > A delicious afternoon tea! was served by the hostesses after xjvhich Miss Delaney opened the numerous gifts for which she suitably! expressed her thanks. I The singing of “For She’s a Jlollv Good Fellow” concluded a most enjoyable afternoon. |
