To-night (Thursday) will see the continuation of the fine series of selected holiday pictures at the Town Hall. Halbert Footner’s gripping mystery story of amazing twists, laid in the treacherous swamps of Florida, “Ramshackle House” will head to-night’s list of pictures. The pleasing Betty CompMin is the leading player, and a big alligator fight filmed for the first lime is but one of the thrills. Usual prices. TWO PERFORMANCES ON NEW YEAR’S EVE. On New Year’s Eve (Friday) (here will be two complete programmes screened; from Bto 10.15 a list beaded by “The Sky Raider,” a great drama of the air mail in which Jacqueline Logan and Ilia famous French war tighter, Captain Nungesser are featured. Prices ns usual, and from 10.80 to 12.45 a.m. a special Old Year-New Year Cabaret programme is being presented. A stunt, picture of vivid realism, “The Cloud Rider,” heads the programme.
