BANK ROBBERY.
A LIVERPOOL SENSATION. London, October 13. A man entered the Bank of Lh'erpool and held up the staff with a revolver and Avhen the cashier attempted to prevent him taking silver from the counter, he fired. The cashier was seriously Avounded, and the thief dashed into the street, pursued by the manager calling “stop thief.” A crowd joined in the' chase, and the thief fired point blank at two men, who Avere both Avounded. A policeman avlio attempted to fell him with a baton was also Avounded.
Eventually he Avas arrested. Examination shoAved that only a tew shillings; had been stolen. VICTIMS IN CRITICAL CONDITION. London, October 13. Victims of the Liverpool bank shooting are in a critical condition.
