STORY OF STARVING CHILDREN.
DENIED BY MEMBER FOR DISTRICT. Wellington, Last Night, Mr. A. Bell, M.P. (Bay of Islands), stated in the House to-day, that lie had communicated with school teachers in North Auckland, asking if the stories of starving children going to school was correct,
The teachers said the stories were incorrect.
