MANAWATU HUNT.
AJEET AT FOXTON.
A meet of the Manawatu Hunt Club was held at Foxton on Tuesday and Wednesday last over Messrs Robinson Bros.’ property in the Lady’s Mile. The local members gave special attention to the obstacles and the outings were most enjoyable. There were one or two minor mishaps. The “drag” was laid on the first day by Messi’s W. Neylon on “Te Pei” and H. Rivers on “Mark Briggs.” and on the second day by W. Neylon on the same mount. The hounds were in excellent condition and the keen air and dry ground made the pace exciting. The club desires Jo thank the property owners and others who assisted to make the outings a success. The runs were witnessed by a number of spectators.
