FIRE BRIGADE.

MONTHLY MEETING

The ordinary monthly meeting of the Volunteer Fire Brigade was held in Perroau’s Tea Rooms on Tuesday night.

NEW MEMBERS,

Two new members, Messrs F. Hutchinson and R. L. Nattrcss, w (, fii. -proposed and elected.

VOTE OF THANKS

A sincere vote of llianks was accorded Messrs Hamer and Son-for their generous effort in giving an entertainment free of all charge to the Brigade.

APPLIANCES

A list of gear required * by the Brigade was. made out, to be submilled to the Borough Council to purchase as promised. “ A discussion took place on the purchase of a Ford chassis, and it was decided to convene a meeting of the Brigade and citizens to discuss the matter.
