EXCITING CHASE IN FOXTON

Early last evening a young man was seen to dash from a local shop and uigke for the back streets. A cry of “Stop Thief!” was raised, and a crowd quickly gave pursuit. The youth, knowing he was being chased by a furious mob, made the pace hot for a considerable time, but eventually sank down exhausted. He Was quickly pounced upon, and his clenched list forced open, disclosing a front seat ticket for the Famous Diggers, who will show at the Town Hall on Thursday, 27th October. —Advt.
