CHILDREN’S BALL.
..® A MOST SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION. ’
The annual Children’s Fancy Dress Ball was held in the Town Hull on Tuesday night. The hall was tastefully decorated with Chinese lanterns, Hags, and greenery, to suit the occasion. The was opened with the Grand March, when Hie happy faces of the children, in their many and varied costumes, made a decidedly picturesque scene. Then the dancing commenced, and everyone, from the tiniest tots, danced to their heart’s content.
The supper arrangements were iu the capable bauds of the members of the Lit dies’ Guild. The children thoroughly appreciated Hie excellent supper-provided for their enjoyment. The music Avas supplied by Mrs Pearson, Messrs East and Graham, and Mr Compton officiated as M.C.
