BOWLING.
Yost onlay was an ini or-club visiting day for Mie bowlers in the Maim watn Centre, it having been arranged for every club in the Centro to cither send four rinks to one of the oilier clubs or be visited by four rinks. - Foxton was visited by -throe and a-l'.alf rinks from Terrace End, and two local bowlers, Drake and Christie, played for the visitors to make up the fourth rink. A very enjoyable afternoon was spent, and at the conclusion of the games the president of the Foxton Club (Dr. Mandl) thanked the Terrace End players, for the visit, and expressed the hope that in future there would bo more visiting between the Chibs, as it-was by this means that the younger players received encouragement. Mr D. J. Lovelock, president of the * Terrace End Club, thanked the Foxton bowlers for the verv hospitably* manner in which they had been treated. The results of the games played was three wins for Terrace End and one for Foxlon. The aggregate scores were: Terrace End 88, Foxton 09. The following are the details: — Terrace find. Foxton.
