PRISONERS OF WAR IN TURKEY.

NUMBER DOES NOT EXCEED 450. Melbourne, Nov. 23. Mr Hughes, Federal Prime Minister, Is in receipt of a cable message from the Foreign Office, stated that the aggregate number of British and Australasian prisoners of war in Turkey does not exceed 450. It is understood that the Foreign Office is constantly in touch with the Turkish Red Crescent on the subject of prisoners.
