ENTERTAINMENTS.

ROYAL PICTURES

To-night, at the Royal, “The Masked Dancer,” featuring an exciting kidnapping and rescue scene, will be shown. It is indeed a very well got-up film, and abounds with exciting and thrilling instances. There will also be shown “Tango Troubles” (comic), “Saved from the Mormons,” a drama that arrests attention and is sure to please, “Winter, Scenes in Charaouix Valley” (scenic), “The Topical Budget,” “Practical Demonstration,” a grand play proving that a true woman’s real sphere is the home, and three very fine comics.

On Monday night the first of the real war pictures will be shown. “Called to the Front” features events in the present great struggle, and it should certainly, be seen by all.

MUNICIPAL PICTURES. The programme for to night offers a great attraction, as the KalemD magnificent new star feature drama, “A Man’s Soul,” is a fine problem play of immense power. The other items of the programme are : The Australian Gazette (topical), The Girl Across the Hall (drama), The City of Sydney (magnificent scenic), The Card Mystery (comic), The Outlaw (drama), The Girl and the Gondolier (comic), The Dosing Card (comic), Gambling Rube (Keystone comedy).
