Roller flour (200’s), £9 ss; bran, 15s ; pollard (scarce), & 5s ; whole fowl wheat, 4s 4d ; new Garton oats, 3s; Algerian, 3s; Dun, 3s; B grade sparrow-bills, 2s ixu ; maize, 4s 2d ; new oaten sheaf chaff 955, old 100 s ; oatmeal (25’s), 1 os ; onions (Auckland and Canterbury), ; potatoes, up-10-dates, £$ to £$ 10s (all sacks included) ; pearl barley, 14s ; split peas, 17s; blue peas, 17s; medium factory cheese, 6>4d ; fresh eggs, is 2d per doz ; milled butter 1 id, separator is to is id. plums, choice Burbanks, 3s 96, 5s ; seconds, 2s, 3s ; damsons, 2s, 2s 6d ; green gages, 3s, 5s 6d ; apricots, 5s 6d, 6s 6d ; nectarines, 3s, 4s 6d ; tomatoes, 6s 6d, 8s 6d (all at per half-case) ; hot-house grapes, yd to is 2d per lb, ; bushels apples (cooking) 4s, 4s 6d, (dessert) ss, 7s ; William pears, choice N.Z., 53 6d, 7s, half-case. The demand for vegetables is strong, and prices a little higher than last week.
