TENNIS EUCHRE PARTY AND DANCE.

The above function took place in the Masonic Hall last night and was one of the most enjoyable social affairs held this year. In fact, this annual affair is always looked forward to with pleasurable anticipation. The committee spared no pains to make this year’s gathering a “top notcher,” and their efforts were rewarded by success. The euchre tables were all occupied and much interest was displayed in the games. Mr C. Edwards won the gent’s prize and Miss May Walden the lady’s. The “booby” prizes were awarded to Miss A. Neylou and '"Mr A. Reeve. After the tables were removed the floor was prepared for dancing and over fifty couples occupied the floor. The music was supplied by Mr Berthold and son. Mr Phillips made a very efficient M.C. There was an abundance Of refreshments and this department was presided over by Mesdames Edwards, Stewart, Boyesand Healey, to whom a special word of praise is due. An extra was played by Miss Alzdorf. The committee desire to thank all who contributed in any way to the success of the gathering, which was such a success both socially and financially.
