Ladies and Gentlemen,— J£AVING consented to the request of a large number of ratepayers, to offer my set vices as a Councillor, and if elected as oue of your representatives in the Council, it will be my pleasure at all times do all in my power to further the interests of Foxton. My first attention would be directed to economy in the administration of the borough finances. The next thing demanding my attention would be the formation of footpaths ; it is lime that Foxton understood that it is a borough, and not a road board ; and further, the ratepayers can trust me that I will put my foot down on any experimenting with the Ratepayers’ money on works which are destined to end in failure.
