The usual 5.35 p.m. Palmerston North-Foxtou train will leave at 5.40 p.m., Foxton arrive 7.15 p.m, BY ORDER. MUNICIPAL ELECTION. TO THE BURGESSES OF FOXTON. Ladlus and Gkntlkmkn, — J_£AVING consented to the request of a large number of ratepayers, to offer my services as a Councillor, and if elected as one of your representatives in the Council, it will be my pleasure at all times do all in my power to further the interests of Foxton. My first attention would be directed to economy in the administration of the borough finances. The next thing demanding my attention would be the formation of footpaths ; it is time that Foxton understood that it is a borough, and not a road board ; and further, the ratepayers can trust me that I will put my foot down on any experimenting with the Ratepayers’ money on works which are destined to end in failure.
