The winner of any hurdle race after declaration of weights to carry a 101 b penalty. Nominations for all events, except Maiden Hack Race (first day), and Maiden Hack Hurdle Handicap and Eleclric Hack (second day), dose with the Secretary at Koxton on SATURDAY, January sth, 1901, at 9 p.m. Weights for first day's races will be declared on or about 10th January, 1901. Acceptances for fir=t day's races close on MONDAY, January 14th, 1901, at* 9 p.m. Entries for Maiden Hack Race (first day), and Electric Hack (second day), and nominations for Maiden Hack Hurdle Hand^ cap (second day), close on MONDAY. January 14th, 1901, at 9 p.m. Weights for second day's races will be declared on Monday, January 21st, 1901, at 8 p.m. Acceptances close same evening at 9 30 p.m. Definition of a Hack.- A Hack means a horse that has not at date. of nomnatlons won a race of the value of 80 soys, or races of the collective value of 150 soys since Ist August, 1900, and has never won an advertised race exceeding the net sum or value of 40 soys (Hack and Hunter races excrpted). Every entry must s-tafe the name, or assumed name of the owner or owners, and the name, age and pedigree and description of the horse, together with the colors of the rider. The advertised fee . must in every case* accompany nominations and acceptances. All races to be run under the "Rules of , Racing." ' i
