Our tfOth Year of Publication. SINCE purchasing the Makawatu Herald in 1889, it has been the aim of the management to keep the paper in advance with the times. Thus tbe Manawatu Herald, which was then published bi-weekly at the price of threepence was issued in 1890 as a tri- weekly, and the price per copy reduced to twopence.
