Dairy Foxton.

A few days ago Messrs Heunessy, West wood & Co., wrote to our member, Mr J. G. Wilson, at the request of a number of settlers, asking him to secure the visit of a dairy expert to this district. The firm have handed the answer received, as under : —

Bulls, Jan. 16. Messrs Hennessy, West wood & Co.,

Foxton,

Demi Sirs, — I am in receipt of yours of 13th inst. 1 shall have great pleasure in getting one of the Government Dairy Expert to come to Foxton and meet the settlers. Many say that I arranged for one to come some time ago, but found such apathy on the part of the settlers that he did not go. So I am glad to find that those interested are awakening to the necessity of enquiring more closely into the Dairy industry.

Yours faithfully, James G. Wilson.
