Notes and Events.
Mr Stead's Christmas number " Two and two make four," is a very readable view of how he would desire that his daily paper should grow and rule. As a suggestion it ia good, but to give effect to it as impossible. The story is hased on the Liberator frauds, and the Daily Paper is to expose all commercial undertakings, were the principle that two and two make other combinations than four.
