«, At the sale of stud sheep in Sydney on July 3rd, Lincoln rams shipped by Mr Goodfellow, Waikatc, averaged £4 12s 9d ; by Mr Riddifprd, Auckland, £3 9s; by Mr Piokering, Waikato, £4 7s 2d; by Mr Baker, Wanganui, 2 rams, 7 guineas apiece. The highest price' for some of Mr Hill's, of Auckland, was 10 guineas, but his others averaged 4£ guineas; Mr Boag's, Canterbury, averaged 6f guineas ; Mr Hunter's, Waikato, about £2 10s • 6d; Mr Overton's; Canterbury, at 15 guineas, the lowest at 6 guineas ; Mr Grey's, of Milburn, Otago, Leicester, Young Champion, 10 guineas. A number of Leicester hoggets £5 5s each.
