Mr G. M. Snelson.

Over the leader it will be noticed that Mr G. M. Snelson advertises his business notice. The writer has known Mr Snelson ever since the day he first entered the district and can therefore speak authoritatively as to his business capacity and integrity. It is now nigh on twenty years since Mr iSnelson opened in business in the Square at Palmerston, and as he always took a leading and a most energetic parf in local affairs, a very large portion indeed, of the credit of ihe success of that town is due to him, a matter at times, most unfairly overlooked. Anyhow Mr Snelson is appreciated by those who know him, and they are very mauy, and it is satisfactory to note that his services can be secured by our readers. He is a splendid auctioneer, getting through the lots in a pleasant and quick manner, and many who go 4o look on, remain to buy, owing to his beguiling soft voice.
