• ' _» — Messrs McMillan Rhodes & Co. have handed us Messrs Griffin & Son's report of the 19fch February from which we make the followitg extracts : — Hemp ; New Zealand, has been in fairly good request more especially medium kinds of fairly dr4ged quality, but at the close the ton^s -• somewhat quieter and values are 5s to 10s per ton lower. The inferior grades are or less neglected. At auction 2920 bales offered 972 bales sold from £19 15s to £24. Stock on the 81st January was f 1440 tons, and last year at the same time there were 2524 tona.
