The schooner Bee h-is completed her loading of timber for Lytteltou and cleared yeafcerday. The schooner Emerald is loading a cargo of timber from her owners' nill for Napier. She will ho ready for sea tomorrow. Captain P*ton. of th« bwpie Sonhia R. Lnhrs, informs the N. Z Time? that, tho effects of the earthquake were very plainly felt on board his vessel. The barque was at the time the phenomenon occurred ten miles off Stephen's Island and running under her lower topsails. The feeliug on board was that the vessel was passing over a sandbank
