IMPORTANT LAND SALE IN THE MANAWATU DISTRICT. MESSRS HALCOMBE & SHERWILL have received instructions from the Emigrant & Colonists' Aid Corporation, Limited, to sell by Public Auction, at the TOWN HALL, PALMERSTON, ON FRIDAY, the i7th JUNE, ABOUT 6,000 ACRES OF RURAL LAND, IN SECTIONS VARYING FROM 50 TO 400 ACRES. The land offered for sale is bush ' land of the finest quality, and is especially advantageously situated with regard to road and railway communication. It is close to the Town of Palmerston, and every section has a frontage , on good metalled roads, about one half of the sections lying on the road • between Palmerston and the Mana- , watu Gorge, and the rest on the road between Feilding and the Gorge.
