« Wednesday, June 16, 1880. (Before B. Ward, Esq., E.M.) CIVIL CASES. Wiremu Matakatia v. Eoreta Tawhai. — Claim Bs. Gd. This was a dispute between the plaintiff (a man) and defendant (a woman) as to the ownership of a certain tub. After a most patient hearing, the Magistrate decided that the tub was the property of the plaintiff. Costs 21s. F. H. Cook v. T. Eobinson. — Claim £10 6s. 9d. Judgment for amount and costs, 30s. Same v. Hodder, Mason, and Co. Claim £19 ss. 9d. Judgment for amount claimed and costs, 395. Same v. Miles. — Claim £6. Judgment for amount claimed and costs, 235. Same v. F. Hill.— Claim £4 18s 9d. Judgment for amount claimed and costs, 20s. Same v. W. Jones. — Claim 18s. Judgment for amount claimed and costs, 20s
