In the latter the Government withdrew the objectionable 30th clause, and asked House to give them permission to expend &, sum not exceeding £60,000 on private railways. Six G. Grey said ke should skill oppote the Bill, and when the pioper time came he should address the House at length on the subject. After a good deal of discussion, the House passed a vote of £60,000. The Bill was then read a third time and passed. The House then adjourned until 4 o'clock, at which time it met and again adjourned till 8 o'clock.
