The ss Huia arrived from Wellington ou .Friday morniug, having left thafc port the previous evening. She discharged, and loaded a full cargo of timber, &c, during the day, and got steam up at five p,m., when the pennants were run up, forbidding her departme, owing to a. very heavy sua rolling on the bar, and sho wns. compelled to wait until next morning, when sho got away, having taken in 10.) aheep afc Captain Robinson's. The ss Stormbird left Wellington on Friday evening, and arrived here at 5.30 on Saturday morning. Sho sailed again for some porfc at 9' o'clock'on Sunday morning. On her trip down to Wellington on Thursday last, the Stormbird encountered the first of the S.E. gale which came on at that time. The Stjrmbiid' anchored in Ohau Bay for shelter, and resumed hor voyage afc 5 *nJ*cl«ielc on Friday morning, reaching Wellington 4 hours later. The Stormbird may bo expected to arrive this moming fro n Wellington. Ifc is reported that the schooner Jane Anderson will come here to load sleepers.
