(reutek's telegrams.) Londox, August 14. A conference of delegates, representing 200.000 workmen, met at Manchester, and resolved to encourage emigration. The Dominion Government of Canada offer to defray the expenses of delegates from English farmers to Canada, with a view of encouiaging the emigration of that class to Canada. St. Petersburg, August 14. Three very influential lawyers have been brought to £t. Petersburg, charged with disaffection. Police supervision is very stringent, although several officers have been punished for neglect of duty. Melbourne, Friday. The Lanoefield branch of the Commercial Hank of Australasia wag stuck ap to day by two men, when first opened in the morning, and Morrison, the accouutant, was gagged. A local customer was locked up in the manager's room, and the manager was kept in the back yard wi<h four men during the robbery. The bank was robbed of £665. The police do not think that the robbery was committed by the Kelly gang. Black trackers are starting in pursuit. .m" 4^" % fliter. M Some people believe that the robbers of the Bank at Lancefield were Ned Kelly and Hart, but nothing definite is known.
