Tho ss Stormbird left Wellington on Monday evening, but owing to the thickness of the weather had to anchor in the harbour until next morning when a start was made at 6 o'clock ; steamed on to Kox« ton, and made fast to the wharf shortly after 5 p.m. same day. Tho Stormbird sailed for Wellington at 4 p.m. on Wednesday. The S3 Jane Douglas is expected to arrive from Southern ports on Saturday. She will leave for Rangitikei and Wellington. The Huia is advertised to leave Wellington for this port this evening.
