Passengers • Cabin —Mrsj*rs Hume, Johnson, Haw-son, Young, G. W. llussell, Detective Fan-ell, and :* others, IMPORTS. Per Jano Douglas—9 p*;kgH, Whyte; 185 pkgs other consignees. The s.s. Jano Douglas left Wollington at 3.40 p.m. on Thursday, and arrived at Kapiti at 11.15 p.m; Railed again at 12.30 a.m., and arrived alongside Foxton wharf at 4.45 a.m. on Friday. Experienced fine weather aud light head winds throughout tha passage. On the last trip of tho Jane lloualas that vessel landed 2000 ft timber at Kapiti to be used in docking mid repairing the schooner Klpcabeth, which vessel was stranded on the island about two mouths ago. She also landed three workmen to do the necessary r**p*irs. The Jano Uuujilns should arrive this morning from Welliugton.
