George Thomas reports :— Adelaido flour, £17 to £17 10s; Colonial, £10 10s; oits, 4s Cd ; bran, Is ; whuiit, 4s ; hams, Sid to 9d ; bacon, 81; cheese, 8d ; maize, ss; potatoes, 1J.1; polhrd, £0 ss; butter, lUd. The New Zejland Loan and Mercantile Agcucy Company held their first sale of wool, tallow, hides, &c, yesterday, and the attendance of the niorcuntile cominuuily was sufficient!}' numerous to show that this is a step in the right direction, and we hope to see these stiles continued. O.viug to the depression of wool in the London market the biddings did not iv most cases reach the reserve, and the bulk of the wool was withdrawn. The followiug prices were realised : — Gr asy crossbred wool — B and 11,2 bales, 7d ; B, 3 bales B£d ; ,T, I bale, H£d ; M, 1 bulo, 8d ; O, 1 1 bales, ; 8 lots sheepskins at 5d to sid per lb ; 50 hides, Halted, 2£d to 3d ; 7 casks tallow, 29s to 3«s par cwfc. Oamarl*. The produce market is quiet, tho following quotations ruling :— Wheat, 3s 8d to 3a lOd ; oats, la to 4s Id ; flour, £'J 10s to £10 ; oatmeal, £.0 ; pollard, £5 10s ; bran, £4.
