New Discoveby In Medicine.— Since the opening of his Model Hall in Wellington, Mr J. Mcmteifch haa spared no eftbrt iv acquiring information as to the new medicines that are being continually introduced in the great Medical Establishments in Europe, his experience having convinced him that a careful study of this question would enable him to place before the public of this city some of the many advantages which are reaped by tho inhabitants of the old world centres Iv consequence of the rapid whirl of Colonial life, there are many people who are ■weaned and troubled with neuralgia, nervuus headache, indigestion, and such-like complaints. But it is stated that the introduction of a now medicine known as the Wine of the Citrate of Iron of Quinine, is a most invaluable and infallible remedy for these distressing complaints, wlale another new medicine, Tho Compound Decoction of Red Jamaica, and Sarsaparilla, with Dandelion and Potash, recently intro* duced into the great Paris Hospitals is stated to be, without exception, the most effectual remedy known for cleansing the blood ; and makes the patient feel as if he had obtained a new lease of life. The sole right to the sale of these two valuable medicines for the Colony of New Zealand has been acquired by Mr Monteith, and ha it has been truljr Baid that the physician or chemist, who introduces a new medicine, and thereby materially aUeriatefl the sufferings
of poor humanity is worthy of all honor, we hope that the enterprise of Mr Montcith will result in both honor and profit. — Evening 1 Chronicle.
