NOTICE. n^HE attention of Butchers and 4 others i% drawn to clause 22 of the Slaughterhouses Act, 1877 : — 22.— "1 f any parson, without being duly licensed, shall keep a slaughterhouse, or place for slaughtering cattle, intended for sale, or barter, or for shipping, and not being an abattoir lawfully erected, or providedi or a slaughterhouse liconsed by the Council cf any corporate district, or if any per. son shall slaughter, or I cause to bo slaughtered, . contrary to the provisious of this Ac*, any cattle., in any house or place, not being an abattoir, and not being a slaughterhouse duly ! licensed under this Act, such person shall forfeit and pay a sum not exceed' ing ten pounds for each and I every head of cattlo so slaughtered.
