« i (reuxer's special to phess agency.) Home, Novembor 27th. A wide-spread Socialist agitation prevails in Italy, causing much uneasiness. Vienna, November 27th. During a Cabinet Council, at which the President of the Hungarian Council, Ministers, and Count Andrassy were present, a bomb was exploded outside the building. Nobody was hurt. Bombay, November 24th. The Viceroy of India has issued a proclamation justifying England's declaration of war against the Ameer, and averring- that hostilities were directed against the Ameer, and not against the people of Afghanistan, whose independence was recognised and would be respected ; and further, that England woull not tolerate the intervention of any power. London, November 25 th. The creditors of the Bank of Glasgow are to receive a dividend shortly.
