EVANGELISTIC SERVICES will be conductod in Foxton by Goudox Foklong, of Bulls, to commence on Silnday, November 3, at 11 am., in the Primitive Methodist Chapel ; and afterwards, should the above building prove too small, the meetings will be held in the Public Hall, of which duo notice will be given. The meetings will be unsectarian. All are kindly invited. TENDERS are required for the erection of Sh miles (more or less) of fencing : to commence at a point on the Foxton and Carnarvon Road. The fencing to consist of sods, ditch, and wire, where practicable ; 8 wires on ridges and sand flats; pos's sot moro than 8 feet apart ; strainiug pos's not less than 10 chains apart, excepting in places whe^o it is necessary to have them at a less distance ; straining posts to be well strutted and braced. All material will be laid on the lino, as near as possible. Tenders to state at what rate per chain the above fencing will be done as follows : — One sod and 7 wires per chain Two sods and 5 Three sods and 3 „ Eight wires only „ Tenders marked "Tenders for fencing," and addressed to E. Barber, or William Osborn, at Whyte's Hotel, Foxton, will be received up to I'riday, 25 th October, at 2 p.m. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. Foxton, 12th October, 1878.
