Sir — I see by reading down the leading article of your valuable paper of the 18th of October that my name is brought in question by counsel for Langley in the sly grog selling case Now, Sir, I wish it to bo distinctly understood, I never used the words therein mentioned, and I further givo a flat denial to the statement mado against me.
