Patea, Thursday, 6.30, p.m. News was received here last night that Hiroki had arrived at Purihaka ; but that Te Whiti requested that no one should go to attempt his capture, as he, Te Whiti, desired to see the Nativo Minister' before anything further was done. New Plymouth, Thursday, i 6.30, p.m. Hiroki is at Paribaka, but it is be* lieved he cannot possibly live, oa account of a guv shot wouud he re* ceived from some one in a search party I when they met him near Opuuake. 1 Tho bullet must have hit him in the groin, and driven his cap-pouch into the wound. Jf ois under Te Wbiti's protection, who wishos to soe Mr JSheehan and Major Brown.
