FURTHER PARTICULARS.

A II the immigrants and crew wore landed safe at about 4 p.m., this evening (Wednesday). One of the City of Auckland's boats was wotked beatifully by Win. Jenkins and the following crew : — Morgan Carkeek, Mark (native), Hector Hammond, (half-caste), J. Seymour, (half-caste). These all belong to Otaki. They worked hard all day bringing immi grants ashore, in which they were assisted by another of the ship's boats, commanded by the second mate of the ship. The immigrants are all safely lodged in the schoolhonse and College buildings Both Europeans and natives are assisting them. The vessel is a full rigged ship ; she is almost bows on.
The acting-constable, James Bansfield, Mr Udy, of the Otaki Ferry Inn, also his two men, worked well, con* veying those passengers who needed assistance in the ferryboat across the Rangiuru Creek, which was flooded.
All the Otaki residents, both European and native, acted in the same gonorons and brave n.anner that they did at the wreck of the Felix Stowe
