Sm— ln your issue of the 15th I perceive two epistles referring to a petition for the removal of the constable. As one who signed that petition, I pass the wreichod aueera they contain with due contempt j but one mentions fourteen years of fuithful service. I am happy to say I have not Lad fourteen years' experience of him : oight years have been sufficient for me. I reier now more especially to the loss and anxiety caused by his cattle.
