October 14.— Tui, s.s., C 2 tons, Wills, for Wellington. Passengers —Mr and Mrs Hammond and child, Mr and Mrs Barnes and child, Messrs Walker, Grimes, and 5 ethers. Thynne, Linton k Co., agents.
Tho sa. Tui, Cap*ain Wills, left Wel lington at 4, p.m. ou Srnday, and reached Kapiti at midnight, laying there for four hour?, after which a start was made for Foxton, crossed the bar at 7.50, and reached the wharf an hour after. She sailed again at 10 p.m. last night. On her last trip down tho Jano Douglas met with a henvy'southerly buster, and got two leet of water in her cabin. Hio reached Wellington all right, merely having lost a few sheep.
The Jane Douglas was to leave Wellington last night, and .will probably show up early this morning. The schooner Forest Quaen is working well at the Hydrabad. fcrhe left the Manawatu Rivor last Tuesday, and in two tides had her cargo on board, from the big ship. Mie has mado tho trip to Wellington, aud left again on Sunday, in to\v ot tho Gleuelg, for the Hydrabud, and is noiv again alongside. *
