The schooner fora is atill in the river, the "w.'nd not having been strong enough to carry her down stream. The Jane Douglas was to leave Wellington last night for Foxton. She is to stay somo time off the Hydrabad laying down anchors. Tho ship Lebn arrived at Auckland from London on Saturday last 130 days out. She experienced fearful weather. After rounding the Cape, a tremendous sea broke over the vessel, doing gieat damage. Captain McXenzio was washed undor the windlass, and had his head split open ; two seamen were killed, and the th"'d mate hvl his leg broken. The ship St Leonards arrived at Wellington from London after a good passage of 93 days, on Sunday last. She brings 47i passengers, and a fall cargo. One deatn occurred on the voyage. Tho ketch Huon Belle, which went ashore at Manawatu and Patea, reached Wellington on Sunday evening from Fatea, with a cargo of produce.
