An armistice between Russia-. Poland, and Ukraine has bc-en signed, after three- weeks of verbal sparring, finishing! with four days- and nights of uninterrupted debate. It- is not regarded as a. permanent settlement, but isi generally considered to he a contrivance to avoid winter fighting.
The-worst feature of the-treaty;is the treatment of Lithuania, which has been left in the lurch by the Bolsheviks. ;;.nd is at the mercy of Polaiid.
