DUNEDIN, Aug. 21

Senior-Detective Kemp arrested at Ophir. William Charles Pitches (hotelkeeper), Hugh McAlister (stock inspector), and William White Latimer on a charge of having in June last uttered a will purporting to be that of the late George Reaper, of Ophir, who died at Cromwell Hospital in June. The will, it is alleged, was forged in favor of William White s Latimer, one of the accused.

The accused men were brought before the Court at Ophir and were liberated on bail.
