.OUTBREAKS IN MESOPOTAMIA
AN ANARCHIC MOVEMENT.
[Press Association.! (Router's Telegrams.) (Received Aug. 20, 7.15 p.m.) . • LONDON, Aug. 19. The War Office states that further outbreaks occurred in Mesopotamia on a considerable scale, particularly ucrth-enst and west of Bagdad. Bands of tribesmen cut the railways and the telegraph from Bagdad to Kifri Kiruward. Part of the garrison are . hero invested and several railway bridge?; have been burnt. The Euphrates communications with the Ramndi Mid Feluja,garrisons are not interrupted. The Kufah "garrison is still holding out The revolutionary movement, vhich was at first political, has become anarchic. Former ringleaders, alarmed at the turn of events, are shewing their influence on the side of peace. Reinforcements from India sire en route.
