SEDDON STOCK SALE.

At the Seddon yards yesterday, th» N.Z. Farmers'"'Co-op Association held their monthly .stock sale, when an exceptionally lar^s yarding of fat sheep and cattle was submitted. The feature of the day's market, a line of 300 halfbred four and sixtooth wethers, bred and fattened or* Richmond Brook Station, attracted a great deal of attention, and were* snofcen of as the finest line of fat sheep of such numbers that havo been offered for sale by public auction in Maryborough. The line* realised at auction £2 JOs 6d pr head, and fell to the bid of Mr G. McDonald, of Kaikoura. who, it i* understood; intends re-offerinc the*** at the Addingtoii yards at no distant date. A line of very fine sheep fattened by Mr P. Goulter also realiFr'l £2 10s 6<l per bend, while other stork from different clients also reached very plonking figures. Other prices were as follows:—

Fat wr-fchors, 40s 3d to 495: f">fc and forward wothers, 35s to 36s Gd; m.s. hoggets, good, 3ls 9d; m.s.. hoqreets 2ffs.

Cattle: Fat steers, £V 2 12s to -^14 1.0s; fat heifers. £12 15s to PI 3; forward steer*. £9 lfo to £9 Ms; storo steers. £7 9a; fat cows, £12 ss; heifer in milk, £10.
