WEDDING
SIMSON—M URR AY.
On the 22nd- of -July a very pretty and popular wedding was. solemnised a;t the- Presbyterian Church, Blenheim, tho contvacing parties being Ernest, second son of- Mr and Mrs D. Sim son, Bienheim, to' Jessye, second daughter of Mr and Mrs J. Murray, Willow Bank Farm, Grovetown. The bride, who was given away by her father j looked charming1 in a -gown of white crepa de chin© with panels of georgette falling from th© shoulders. The corsage had touches of silver, while tho girdle of georgette was finished with bead tassels. Her veil of white net was arranged with orange blossoms, and she carried a sheaf of white- oameliasl, snowdrops, and Christmas roßes. She was attended by two bridesmaids, Miss A. Murray, sister of tho bride, and Miss. H. Simson,, sister of the bridegroom^ who wore frocks of rose pink crepe do chine, witli which they wore black hats trimiued with rose petals, and boitllx carried bouquets of pink heath, geraniums, and maidenhair fern. Mr A. Aciiams undertook tho duties: of b>est man, while Mr G. Gamble acted as groomsman. Tho Rot. W. O. Robb was the officiating minister, and Mr E. Play presided at the. organ. After the ceremony a large' number of guests were entertained. iat the residence of the bride's parents, whei-e the werlding breakfast was dispensed. The- young couple were the recipients of many valuable presents, including a number of cheques. The h-.%.ppy couple left by motor-oar to Picton en route to tho North Island, where the honeymoon was spent.
