"Saored Silence" opens to-night at the P-alac© Theatre. William Russell, the herol, makes the supreme sacrifice cf being branded as « desorfcer and a coward to save a woman's honor. Partly through his own chivalry, partly through the scheming of an unscrupulous, woman, a young army captain is led to< believe he has killed a brother ofiicer, and to save the good name ojf the woman he* loses hinihCilf in the maze of a. big city. The ultimate, outcome is sa.tisi'actory, however, to the leading characters. "Sacred Silence" deals with an absorbing phase of social lii'o at an ar/ny post and is based upon the stage play, "The Deserter." Supporting films include Mutt and Jetf, Fox News, and Sunshine comic. The Palace Orchestra will play special selections. A matinee will be held at 2.30 to-morrow.
