PROPOSED PROHIBITION POLL
[Pnoss Association.] (Received Aug. 6, 10.30 a.m.) ■ SYDNEY, Aug. 0. Parliament reassembles on Tuesday. A censure motion is anticipated in consequence of the release of the. Industrial Workers of the World prisoners, but the Government is confident of victory.
Tt is rumored that the proposed poll on Prohibition to be taken before June will be abandoned on account of tho amount involved by compensation. Ten millions would bo required if the proposition 'was carried in Melbourne.
